HYDRAULIC COVER VENT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
WARNING
A North American Treaty Organization (NATO) slave receptacle is mounted on the hydraulic
cover vent. The BATTERY DISCONNECT switch does not cut power to this receptacle. Use
extreme caution when removing the hydraulic cover vent. Do not touch the receptacle or cables
with hands or tools. Do not attempt to disconnect the receptacle unless the batteries have both
been disconnected. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Tag and label all electric cables and connections prior to removal. Electric cables must be
installed correctly for proper operation. Failure to comply will cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
Figures 2 and 4 illustrate the NATO slave receptacle and the hydraulic cover vent from the
reverse side.
