Truck Hitch Extension Arm Installation
WARNING
The extension arm and wheel pivot arm guide weigh 115 lb (52.2 kg). Three personnel or a
suitable lifting device is necessary to lift component. Failure to comply may cause injury or death
to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Install extension arm (Figure 1, Item 5) into truck hitch (Figure 1, Item 2) with assistance, and install hydraulic
cylinder mounting pin (Figure 1, Item 1) into hydraulic cylinder (Figure 1, Item 3).
2. Install new cotter pin (Figure 1, Item 4) into hydraulic cylinder mounting pin (Figure 1, Item 1).

FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Remove lifting device.
2. Install truck hitch (WP 0409).
