WARNING
The truck hitch weighs 665 pounds (lb) (302 kilograms (kg)). A suitable lifting device is necessary
to lift component. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
Do not pull truck hitch too far away from Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM) with
hydraulic hoses attached. The hydraulic hoses will need to be removed after the truck hitch is
removed from BMPM mounting point but before truck hitch is pulled away from the BMPM.
Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 5), lock washers (Figure 1, Item 4), center pin (Figure 1, Item 1), truck hitch
bottom mounting bracket (Figure 1, Item 6), truck hitch top mounting bracket (Figure 1, Item 3), and truck
hitch (Figure 1, Item 2) from BMPM with assistance. Discard lock washers.
