WARNING
Each battery weighs 42 lb (19 kg). Two personnel are required to lift component. Failure to
comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Do not drop item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Install batteries (Figure 2, Items 13 and 8) into battery tray (Figure 2, Item 9).
2. Install battery hold-down bar (Figure 2, Item 10), two new lock nuts (Figure 2, Item 11), and flat washers
(Figure 2, Item 12) onto battery tray (Figure 2, Item 9).
3. Connect battery unit power cable (Figure 2, Item 3) onto positive battery terminal (Figure 2, Item 7).
4. Connect battery jumper cable (Figure 2, Item 2) onto positive battery terminal (Figure 2, Item 5) and negative
battery terminal (Figure 2, Item 6).
5. Connect battery unit ground cable (Figure 2, Item 1) onto negative battery terminal (Figure 2, Item 4).
