Fuel Injector Lines Removal -- Continued.
CAUTION
Tag and label fuel injector lines prior to removal. Fuel injector lines must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Disconnect fuel injector wire harness W25 C3 and C4 (Figure 4, Item 2) at pass-through connector (Figure 4,
Item 1).
2. Remove four fuel injector lines (Figure 5, Items 1, 2, 3, and 4) from fuel rail (Figure 5, Item 6) connectors.
3. Remove four fuel injector lines (Figure 5, Items 1, 2, 3, and 4) from cylinder head fittings (Figure 5, Item 5).
4. Cap/plug fuel injector lines (Figure 5, Items 1, 2, 3, and 4), cylinder head fittings (Figure 5, Item 5), and fuel
rail (Figure 5, Item 6) connectors.

Fuel Injector Lines Installation
1. Remove caps/plugs from four fuel injector lines (Figure 5, Items 1, 2, 3, and 4), cylinder head fittings (Figure
5, Item 5), and fuel rail (Figure 5, Item 6) connectors.
2. Install four fuel injector lines (Figure 5, Items 1, 2, 3, and 4) to fuel rail (Figure 5, Item 6) connectors and to
cylinder head fittings (Figure 5, Item 5) finger-tight.
3. Torque fuel injector lines (Figure 5, Items 1, 2, 3, and 4) to 26 foot-pounds (ft-lbs) (35 Nm).
4. Connect fuel injector harness connectors W25 C3 and C4 (Figure 4, Item 2) to pass-through connectors
(Figure 4, Item 1).

FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Set BATTERY DISCONNECT switch to ON (TM 5-3895-385-10).
3. Verify proper operation.
4. Dispose of captured fluids and soiled rags IAW local SOP.
