Hydraulic Tank Removal -- Continued.
7. Remove four bolts (Figure 3, Item 1), lock washers (Figure 3, Item 2), and bracket (Figure 3, Item 3) from
Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM) (Figure 3, Item 5). Discard lock washers.
WARNING
The hydraulic tank weighs 142 pounds (lb) (64 kilograms (kg)). Use a suitable lifting device.
Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
8. Remove bolt (Figure 3, Item 8) and lock washer (Figure 3, Item 7) from bracket and BMPM mounting point
(Figure 3, Item 6), and remove hydraulic tank from BMPM with assistance. Discard lock washers.

WARNING

1. Install hydraulic tank into BMPM (Figure 3, Item 5).
2. Install bolt (Figure 3, Item 8) and new lock washer (Figure 3, Item 7) onto bracket and BMPM mounting point
(Figure 3, Item 6).
3. Install bracket (Figure 3, Item 3), four bolts (Figure 3, Item 1), and new lock washers (Figure 3, Item 2) onto
BMPM (Figure 3, Item 5).
4. Remove caps/plugs from hydraulic hoses (Figure 3, Items 4, 9, and 11).
5. Connect three hydraulic hoses (Figure 3, Items 4, 9, and 11) onto tee fitting (Figure 3, Item 10).
