Electric Generator Hydraulic Hose Removal -- Continued.
CAUTION
Tag and label hydraulic hoses prior to removal. Hydraulic hoses must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Close shutoff valve (Figure 1, Item 6).
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose 115 (Figure 1, Item 4), hydraulic hose 118 (Figure 1, Item 1), hydraulic hose 116
(Figure 1, Item 2), and hydraulic hose 117 (Figure 1, Item 8) from electric generator (Figure 1, Item 9).
3. Disconnect hydraulic hose 117 (Figure 1, Item 8) from tee fitting (Figure 1, Item 7).
4. Disconnect hydraulic hose 118 (Figure 1, Item 1) and hydraulic hose 116 (Figure 1, Item 2) from main
hydraulic manifold (Figure 1, Item 3).
5. Disconnect hydraulic hose 115 (Figure 1, Item 4) from hydraulic tank (Figure 1, Item 5).
6. Cap/plug hydraulic hoses and hydraulic fittings.
END OF TASK
Electric Generator Hydraulic Hose Inspection
1. Inspect hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 1, 2, 4, and 8) and fittings for cracks, holes, wear or deformities.
Replace hydraulic hoses if damaged.
2. Inspect hydraulic fittings on electric generator, tee fitting, manifold, tank, and hoses for cracks, stripped
threading, wear or deformities. Replace component if damaged.
END OF TASK
Electric Generator Hydraulic Hose Installation
1. Remove caps/plugs from hydraulic hoses and hydraulic fittings.
2. Connect hydraulic hose 115 (Figure 1, Item 4) to hydraulic tank (Figure 1, Item 5).
3. Connect hydraulic hose 118 (Figure 1, Item 1) and hydraulic hose 116 (Figure 1, Item 2) to main hydraulic
manifold (Figure 1, Item 3).
4. Connect hydraulic hose 117 (Figure 1, Item 8) to tee fitting (Figure 1, Item 7).
5. Connect hydraulic hose 115 (Figure 1, Item 4), hydraulic hose 118 (Figure 1, Item 1), hydraulic hose 116
(Figure 1, Item 2), and hydraulic hose 117 (Figure 1, Item 8) to electric generator (Figure 1, Item 9).
6. Open shutoff valve (Figure 1, Item 6).
