3. Install lower screed slide rail bar (Figure 6, Item 7), nine bolts (Figure 6, Item 4), and 18 new lock washers
(Figure 6, Item 3) onto screed extension slide plate (Figure 6, Item 1).
4. Install upper screed slide rail bar (Figure 6, Item 2), nine bolts (Figure 6, Item 5), and 18 new lock washers
(Figure 6, Item 6) onto screed extension slide plate (Figure 6, Item 1).
NOTE
Some hydraulic oil will leak out of hoses and hydraulic fittings when disconnecting or connecting
components. Have a drain pan and rags in place to capture hydraulic oil.
5. Remove caps/plugs from hydraulic hoses (Figure 6, Item 11) and hydraulic fittings on screed extension
(Figure 6, Item 12).
6. Connect two hydraulic hoses (Figure 6, Item 11) to hydraulic fittings on screed extension (Figure 6, Item 12).
7. Install hydraulic cylinder (Figure 6, Item 16) and retaining pin (Figure 6, Item 14) onto hydraulic cylinder
mounting bracket (Figure 6, Item 13) and hydraulic cylinder (Figure 6, Item 16).
8. Install bolt (Figure 6, Item 17) and new lock washer (Figure 6, Item 15) onto hydraulic cylinder mounting
bracket (Figure 6, Item 13).
9. Install new lock nut (Figure 3, Item 8) and clamp (Figure 3, Item 10) onto post (Figure 3, Item 9).
