MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
2. If intake manifold temperature
sensor is undamaged, proceed
to next test.
3. Inspect engine ECM wiring
1. If damaged, replace the engine
harness connector W25 C7 and
ECM wiring harness (WP 0334,
connector pins for damage.

2. If not damaged, proceed to
next test.
180 Ohms (Ω) to 160 kiloOhms
between the intake manifold
(kΩ), proceed to next test.

temperature sensor RETURN

2. If intake manifold temperature
sensor resistance is not
between 180 Ω to 160 kΩ,
replace the intake manifold
temperature sensor (WP 0333,
Vol 2).
5. Restore equipment to original
condition.
6. Install fuse box (WP 0277, Vol
2).
7. Connect battery cables (WP
0357, Vol 2).
8. Turn keyless engine switch to
the AUX position (TM 5-3895-
385-10), but do not start engine.
Wait 30 seconds.
9. Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#105, FMI#3
screen for fault code SPN#105,
is displayed, turn keyless
FMI#3.
engine switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3895-385-10),
and proceed to next
malfunction.
