TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
CAUTION
All active fault codes must be investigated prior to replacing the engine Electronic Control Module
(ECM). Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
Some sensors share harness wiring. Malfunctions in certain sensors, or in the engine ECM, may
cause false errors to display because of this shared wiring. For this malfunction (SPN#94,
FMI#2), harness wiring is shared by the fuel pressure sensor, the intake manifold
pressure/temperature sensor, the water-in-fuel sensor, and the camshaft position sensor.

TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Additional fault codes active.
1. Install fuse box (WP 0277, Vol
2).
2. Connect battery cables (WP
0357, Vol 2).
3. Turn keyless engine switch to
the AUX position (TM 5-3895-
385-10), but do not start
engine. Wait 30 seconds.
