Hydraulic Pressure Testing at Hydraulic Hose
1. Locate hydraulic hose in appropriate Removal and Installation Work Package (WP) or Troubleshooting WP.
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose In Accordance With (IAW) appropriate Removal and Installation WP or
Troubleshooting WP.
3. Attach tee fitting (Figure 1, Item 4) onto item hydraulic hose was removed from (i.e., hydraulic manifold,
hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic motor).
4. Attach hydraulic hose onto tee fitting (Figure 1, Item 1).
5. Attach hydraulic gauge (Figure 1, Item 2) onto tee fitting (Figure 1, Item 3).
6. Perform function specified in troubleshooting.
7. Turn off Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM).
8. Ensure there is no pressure on hydraulic hose.
9. Disconnect hydraulic gauge (Figure 1, Item 2) from tee fitting (Figure 1, Item 3).
10. Remove tee fitting from hydraulic hose and item hydraulic hose was removed from.
11. Connect hydraulic hose IAW appropriate Removal and Installation WP or Troubleshooting WP.

Dispose of hydraulic oil and wiping rags IAW local Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
