Conveyor Chain Adjustment -- Continued.
1. Loosen two jam nuts (Figure 9, Item 1).
2. Turn two adjustment bolts (Figure 9, Item 2) to set tension on chain to approximately 1/4 inch (in) (6.35
millimeter (mm)) of slack (Figure 9, Item 3).
3. Tighten two jam nuts (Figure 9, Item 1).

FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Remove lifting device.
2. Install floorboard assembly (WP 0274).
3. Verify proper operation.
4. Dispose of hydraulic oil and wiping rags In Accordance With (IAW) local Standard Operating Procedure
(SOP).
