Track Tension Hydraulic Cylinder Hose Removal -- Continued.
CAUTION
Tag and label hydraulic hoses prior to removal. Hydraulic hoses must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Attach suitable length of fibrous cord to guide hose.
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose 17A (Figure 1, Item 1) from left track tension hydraulic cylinder (Figure 1, Item 7),
and cap/plug hydraulic hose and hydraulic fitting.
3. Remove two lock nuts (Figure 1, Item 6), flat washers (Figure 1, Item 5), bracket (Figure 1, Item 4), and
spacer (Figure 1, Item 3) from Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM) (Figure 1, Item 2). Discard lock
nuts.
