Variable Auger Charge Pump Hydraulic Hose Removal -- Continued.
CAUTION
Tag and label hydraulic hoses prior to removal. Hydraulic hoses must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Close shutoff valve (Figure 1, Item 1).
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose 21 (Figure 1, Item 3) from variable auger charge pump (Figure 1, Item 5) and
shutoff valve (Figure 1, Item 1), and cap/plug hydraulic hose and hydraulic fittings.
3. Disconnect hydraulic hose 58 (Figure 1, Item 2) from variable auger charge pump (Figure 1, Item 5) and
hydraulic charge filter (Figure 1, Item 4), and cap/plug hydraulic hose and hydraulic fittings.

Variable Auger Charge Pump Hydraulic Hose Inspection
1. Inspect hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2 and 3) and fittings for cracks, holes, wear, or deformities. Replace
hydraulic hoses if damaged.
2. Inspect hydraulic fittings on pumps, filter, fittings, and hoses for cracks, stripped threading, wear, or
deformities. Replace component if damaged.

Variable Auger Charge Pump Hydraulic Hose Installation
1. Remove caps/plugs from hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2 and 3) and hydraulic fittings.
2. Connect hydraulic hose 21 (Figure 1, Item 3) onto variable auger charge pump (Figure 1, Item 5) and shutoff
valve (Figure 1, Item 1).
3. Connect hydraulic hose 58 (Figure 1, Item 2) onto variable auger charge pump (Figure 1, Item 5) and
hydraulic charge filter (Figure 1, Item 4).
4. Open shutoff valve (Figure 1, Item 1).

2. Verify proper operation.
3. Dispose of hydraulic oil and wiping rags In Accordance With (IAW) local Standard Operating Procedure
(SOP).
