Crown and Valley Shaft Removal -- Continued.
WARNING
Support components when removing/installing the attaching hardware or when component may
fall. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel and damage to equipment.
1. Perform steps 1 2 of the Front Turnbuckle Removal task.
2. Remove power crown roller chain (Figure 2, Item 3) and power crown drive chain (Figure 2, Item 1) from
crown and valley shaft (Figure 2, Item 2).
3. Remove three bolts (Figure 2, Item 7), lock washers (Figure 2, Item 6), flat washers (Figure 2, Item 5), and
crown and valley shaft (Figure 2, Item 2) from power crown assembly plate (Figure 2, Item 4). Discard lock
washers.

Crown and Valley Shaft Installation
1. Install power crown roller chain (Figure 2, Item 3) and power crown drive chain (Figure 2, Item 1) onto
sprocket on crown and valley shaft (Figure 2, Item 2).
2. Install crown and valley shaft (Figure 2, Item 2), three bolts (Figure 2, Item 7), new lock washers (Figure 2,
Item 6), and flat washers (Figure 2, Item 5) onto power crown assembly plate (Figure 2, Item 4).
3. Perform step 6 of the Front Turnbuckle Installation task.

1. Install power crown hydraulic motor (WP 0256).
2. Verify proper operation.
