Screed Main Wear Plate Removal -- Continued.
6. Remove 20 bolts (Figure 3, Item 2), lock washers (Figure 3, Item 3), and bevel washers (Figure 3, Item 4)
from screed (Figure 3, Item 1) and screed main wear plate (Figure 3, Item 5). Discard lock washers.
7. Set BATTERY DISCONNECT switch to ON (TM 5-3895-385-10).
8. Start Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM) engine (TM 5-3895-385-10).
