CORRECTIVE ACTION
2. If fault code SPN#729, FMI#4 is
not active, turn keyless engine
switch to OFF position (TM 5-
3895-385-10). No fault present;
restore equipment to original
condition.
4. ECM and engine interface
1. Disconnect engine interface
wiring harness connector pins
wiring harness connector W16
damaged.
J2 from engine ECM (WP 0451,
Vol 3, Figure 36).
2. Inspect engine interface wiring
1. If damaged, replace engine
harness connector W16 J2 and
interface wiring harness (WP
connector pins for damage.
0388, Vol 2).
2. If not damaged, proceed to next
test.
3. Inspect engine ECM connector
1. If damaged, replace engine
and connector pins for damage.
ECM (WP 0332, Vol 2).
2. If not damaged, proceed to next
malfunction.
5. Harness relay pin short circuit
1. Disconnect engine interface
to ground.
wiring harness connector W16
J4 from intake air heater wiring
W17 J1 (WP 0451, Vol 3,
Figure 35).
2. Measure resistance between
