TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
NOTE
Some sensors share harness wiring. Malfunctions in certain sensors or in the engine Electronic
Control Module (ECM) may cause false errors to display because of this shared wiring. For this
malfunction (SPN#723, FMI#7), harness wiring is shared by the camshaft position sensor, the rail
fuel pressure sensor, the intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor, and the water-in-fuel
sensor.
