MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Turn BATTERY SWITCH to
OFF position (TM 5-3895-385-
10), and wait for 5 seconds.
2. Turn BATTERY DISCONNECT
switch to ON position (TM 5-
3895-385-10).
3. Start engine (TM 5-3895-385-
10) and let it idle for 1 minute.
4. Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#654, FMI#7 is
screen for fault code SPN#654,
displayed, proceed to next test.
FMI#7.
2. If fault code SPN#654, FMI#7 is
not displayed, turn keyless
engine switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3895-385-10).
No fault present; restore
equipment to original condition.
5. Check active engine faults
1. If other fault codes are
screen for any other fault code.
