MALFUNCTION

CORRECTIVE ACTION
2. If fault code SPN#108, FMI#3 is
not displayed, turn keyless
engine switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3895-385-10), remove
jumper, and replace engine
ECM (WP 0332, Vol 2).
6. Harness resistance error.
1. Disconnect engine ECM wiring
harness W25 C10 from
barometric pressure sensor
(WP 0451, Vol 3, Figure 46).
2. Measure resistance between
barometric pressure sensor
SIGNAL pin (pin 3) at sensor
connector, and barometric
pressure sensor SIGNAL pin
(pin 3) at ECM engine wiring
harness W25 C10 (WP 0443,
Vol 3 and WP 0448, Vol 3,
Figure 4).
3. Measure resistance between
1. If resistance is greater than 3
barometric pressure sensor
Ohms (Ω), replace engine ECM
RETURN pin (pin 2) at sensor
wiring harness (WP 0334, Vol
connector, and RETURN pin
2).

2. If resistance is less than 3 Ω,
replace barometric pressure
sensor (WP 0333, Vol 2).
