MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
2. If resistance is more than 100
kΩ, restore equipment to
original condition, and proceed
to next test.
2. Turn keyless engine switch to
the AUX position (TM 5-3895-
385-10), but do not start
engine. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#97, FMI#3 is
screen for fault code SPN#97,
displayed, turn keyless engine
FMI#3.
switch to the OFF position (TM
5-3895-385-10). It is possible
another fault exists or another
troubleshooting procedure
applies. If this was the first time
through the task, restore
equipment to original condition,
and restart troubleshooting at
malfunction 1.
2. If fault code SPN#97, FMI#3 is
not displayed, turn keyless
engine switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3895-385-10). No fault
present; restore equipment to
original condition.
