Remove and discard self-locking hex nut
(5).

Remove piston (6), preformed packing (7),
and cylinder head (1) from piston rod (3).
Discard preformed packing.
Use caution when removing seals
and preformed packings. Do not use
excessive force. Use an o-ring tool.
Scratched or dented seal grooves can
cause bypass leakage.
e.
Use an o-ring tool to remove packing
retainers (8) and seal (9) from piston (6).
Discard seal and packing retainers.
