If seating wall is bent ordeformed, replace air cleaner intake.CAUTIONAir intake components must be freeof leaks to prevent intake of sand,or dust into turbosupercharger.Make sure intake reducer, hose,flexible tube, sense tube, baffle, andair cleaner deflector are free of leaks.Failure to ensure leakproof intakecomponents may result in seriousdamage to turbosupercharger andengine.2.INSPECT BAFFLE, VACUUM DIAPHRAGMHOSES, AND REDUCER FOR CRACKS,TEARS, OR HOLES.a.Inspect rubber baffle (8) for cracks, tears,or missing material. Replace damagedcomponent.b.Inspect vacuum diaphragm (6), flexibletube and hose (11 and 20), and reducer(31) for cracks, tears, or holes.
