To avoid seriousinjury or death:Always wear safety glasses/gogglesat all times.Keep fuel away from open flame orspark (ignition source).Keep at least a B-C fire extinguisherwithin easy reach when working withfuel or on a fuel system.Post signs that read "NO SMOKINGWITHIN 50 FEET" when working withopen fuel lines or fuel tanks.2.INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY.a.Install fuel filter assembly (1) on mountingbracket (8).b.Secure with hose clamps (7).3.CONNECT FUEL FILTER HOSES.WARNINGHydraulic fitting sealant can causeeye damage or skin irritation. Washafter skin contact. Wear safetygoggles/glasses when using. Avoidcontact with eyes or skin. If sealantcontacts eyes, flush eyes with waterand get immediate medical attention.CAUTIONDo not apply hydraulic fitting sealantto leading threads of elbows.Seepage of hydraulic fitting sealantinto fuel system may clog fuel nozzle.a.Apply a light coating of hydraulic fitting sealant tothreads of elbows (4 and 5). Do not apply hydraulicfitting sealant to leading threads.
