The hydraulic reservoir isthe only hydraulic oil reservoir on the paving machine.The reservoir includes a fill cap, sight liquid indicatormeasuring oil level and temperature, and remote drainhose. A removable reservoir cover is fitted with foursuction ports and four return ports. The suction portsare fitted with strainer elements inside the reservoir.d.Engine Oil Cooler and Filter. Hot engine oilreturning to the oil reservoir is routed through the engineoil cooler and engine oil filter mounted on the hydraulicreservoir. Engine coolant circulates in the oil coolerhead to remove excess heat from the oil. The engine oilfilter has a disposable filter element that removescontaminating particles from the oil.e.Pressure Test Manifold. The pressuretest manifold has four active test ports. The test portsallow DS/GS personnel to check the hydraulic oilpressure in the left and right auxiliary pump circuits andin the hydraulic brake release circuit with a quickdisconnect pressure gauge.f.Diesel Fuel Tank. The diesel fuel tank is thefuel reservoir for the engine, screed burner, andwashdown fuel systems. The tank is equipped with a fillcap, fill port strainer, drain plug, and float-type fuel leveltransmitter. The tank fuel level is displayed on anelectric fuel gauge on the operator gauge panel.g.Fuel/Water Separator. The fuel/waterseparator removes moisture from diesel fuel beingpumped to the engine, and is located on the front side ofthe fuel tank. Fuel input to the separator is directly fromthe fuel tank. The separator output is the supply line tothe fuel lift pump.1-7
