Never smoke whenusing solvent; the flashpoint for TypeIII cleaning solvent is 200°F (93,3°C).Failure to do so may result in injuryor death to personnel.If personnel become dizzy whileusing cleaning solvent, immediatelyget fresh air and medical help. Ifsolvent contacts skin or clothes,flush with cold water. If solventcontacts eyes, flush eyes with waterand get immediate medical attention.a.Clean valve body with cleaning solvent andcleaning cloth.b.Use a culture swab to wipe out valve body innerbores.Compressed air used for cleaningpurposes will not exceed 30 psi (207kPa)Use only with effective chipguarding and personal protectiveequipment (goggles/face shield, gloves,etc.). Failure to take proper precautionsmay result in severe injury or loss ofvision.c.Use 30 psi (207 kPa) maximum compressed airto remove any foreign matter from valve bodybore, threaded surfaces, and seal grooves. Dryvalve body with a clean, lint-free cloth.3.
