Position a hydraulic jack under the center of the platform. Set the jack so that it just touches

the platform.
NOTE
In steps s and t, three men are required to remove the
platform; one on each side and one operating the jack.

Remove two capscrews, nuts, and washers that fasten platform to left and right side frame
rails fig. 4-11).
Lower the platform on the jack; then remove the platform out from the rear of the vehicle.
