Section XXIII. MAINTENANCE OF BURNER FUEL TANK
2-27. Burner Fuel Tank.
a.
Removal. (Refer to fig. 2-30.)
Open two draincocks and drain fuel.
(1)
Remove two capscrews and remove access plate.
(2)
NOTE
Mark fuel lines for re-installation identification.
Disconnect two fuel lines at fuel tank.
(3)
(4) Loosen two clamps that support the tank by removing capscrew, nut, and lockwasher
from each; then remove tank.
lnstallation. (Refer to fig. 2-30.)
b.
(1) Place fuel tank in clamps and secure each clamp with a capscrew, nut, and lockwasher,
but not tight at this time.
Connect two fuel lines to tank.
(2)
(3) Tighten clamp capscrews and nuts.
Install access plate and secure with two capscrews.
