Grid Heater Wiring Harness Removal -- Continued.
10. Remove nut (Figure 4, Item 1), flat washer (Figure 4, Item 2), and cable (Figure 4, Item 3) from starter
solenoid post (Figure 4, Item 9).
11. Remove two nuts (Figure 4, Item 16), lock washers (Figure 4, Item 15), and three cables (Figure 4, Items 4,
17, and 18) from starter solenoid posts (Figure 4, Item 10 and 11). Discard lock washers.
12. Remove nut (Figure 4, Item 14) and two cables (Figure 4, Items 8 and 13) from starter solenoid post (Figure
4, Item 12).
13. Remove nut (Figure 4, Item 5), lock washer (Figure 4, Item 6), and cable (Figure 4, Item 13) from battery
charging alternator post (Figure 4, Item 7). Discard lock washer.

Grid Heater Wiring Harness Installation
1. Install nut (Figure 4, Item 5), new lock washer (Figure 4, Item 6), and cable (Figure 4, Item 13) onto battery
charging alternator post (Figure 4, Item 7).
2. Install nut (Figure 4, Item 14) and two cables (Figure 4, Items 8 and 13) onto starter solenoid post (Figure 4,
Item 12).
3. Install two nuts (Figure 4, Item 16), new lock washers (Figure 4, Item 15), and three cables (Figure 4, Items 4,
17, and 18) onto starter solenoid posts (Figure 4, Item 10 and 11).
4. Install nut (Figure 4, Item 1), flat washer (Figure 4, Item 2), and cable (Figure 4, Item 3) onto starter solenoid
post (Figure 4, Item 9).
