Engine Installation -- Continued.
WARNING
The engine assembly weighs 1200 lb (519 kg). Use a suitable lifting device. Failure to comply
may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
It will be necessary to move wires, cables, and hoses out of the way during removal and
installation of the engine.
1. Install gear pump to engine (WP 0363).
2. Install double hydraulic pump drive to engine (WP 0317).
3. Install engine assembly onto BMPM mounting points (Figure 12, Items 13 and 8).
4. Install two bolts (Figure 12, Item 4) and flat washers (Figure 12, Item 5) onto bracket (Figure 12, Item 6) and
mounting point (Figure 12, Item 7).
5. Install four bolts (Figure 12, Item 21), new lock washers (Figure 12, Item 20), flat washers (Figure 12, Item
19), and nuts (Figure 12, Item 12) onto bracket (Figure 12, Item 18) and mounting point (Figure 12, Item 11).
6. Install nut (Figure 12, Item 8), flat washer (Figure 12, Item 9), new lock washer (Figure 12, Item 2), and nut
(Figure 12, Item 1) onto bracket (Figure 12, Item 3) and mount vibration damper (Figure 12, Item 10).
7. Install two nuts (Figure 12, Item 23), new lock washers (Figure 12, Item 22), and bracket (Figure 12, Item 3)
onto engine.
8. Install clamp (Figure 12, Item 14), flat washer (Figure 12, Item 15), nut (Figure 12, Item 16), and oil drain hose
(Figure 12, Item 17) onto post (Figure 12, Item 13).
