Operator Platform Upper Rear Wear Plate Removal -- Continued.
WARNING
The upper rear wear plate weighs 62 pounds (lb) (28 kilograms (kg)) each. Two personnel are
necessary to lift component. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
2. Remove upper rear wear plate (Figure 1, Item 1) from Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM) with
assistance.

1. Install upper rear wear plate (Figure 1, Item 1) onto BMPM with assistance.
2. Install six bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), new lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and flat washers (Figure 1, Item 4) into
mounting holes (Figure 1, Item 5).
