15.Engine ECM wiring harness
1. Disconnect engine ECM wiring
damaged.

both pass-through connectors
(WP 0451, Vol 3, Figure 46).
2. Disconnect engine ECM wiring
harness connector W25 C1
from engine ECM (WP 0451,
Vol 3, Figure 45).
3. Inspect engine ECM wiring
1. If damaged, replace engine
harness connector and
ECM wiring harness (WP 0334,
connector pins for damage.
Vol 2).
2. If no damage found, proceed to
next test.
4. Inspect pass-through
3. If damaged, replace pass-
connectors and connector pins
through connectors (WP 0338,
for damage.
Vol 2).
4. If no damage found, proceed to
next malfunction.
16.Short circuit to ground in engine
1. Measure resistance from
ECM wiring harness.

2. If resistance is 100 kΩ or less,
replace engine ECM wiring
harness (WP 0334, Vol 2).

cylinder #2 DRIVER pin (pin 57)
kΩ, proceed to next test.

2. If resistance is 100 kΩ or less,
replace engine ECM wiring
harness (WP 0334, Vol 2).
