7. Connect battery cables (WP
0357, Vol 2).
8. Turn BATTERY DISCONNECT
switch to ON position (TM 5-
3895-385-10).
9. Start engine (TM 5-3895-385-10)
and let it idle for 1 minute.
10.Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#612, FMI#2 is
screen for fault code SPN#612,
displayed, turn keyless engine
FMI#2.
switch to the OFF position (TM
5-3895-385-10), and replace
engine ECM (WP 0332, Vol 2).
2. If fault code SPN#612, FMI#2 is
not displayed, turn keyless
engine switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3895-385-10). No
fault present; restore equipment
to original condition.
