MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
2. If voltage is not between 4.75
to 5.25 VDC, turn keyless
engine switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3895-385-10),
and proceed to malfunction 3.
6. Place a jumper wire between the
engine ECM wiring harness
connector W25 C10 +5 volt
SUPPLY pin (pin1) and the
engine ECM wiring harness
connector W25 C10 SIGNAL pin
(pin 3) (WP 0451, Vol 3, Figure
46).
7. Turn keyless engine switch to
the AUX position (TM 5-3895-
385-10), but do not start engine.
Wait 30 seconds.
8. Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#108, FMI#3
screen for fault code SPN#108,
is displayed, turn keyless
FMI#3.
engine switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3895-385-10),
and proceed to next test.
2. If fault code SPN#108, FMI#3
is not displayed, turn keyless
engine switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3895-385-10),
and proceed to malfunction 3,
test 10.
9. Restore equipment to original
condition.
10.Turn keyless engine switch to
the AUX position (TM 5-3895-
385-10), but do not start engine.
Wait 30 seconds.
11.Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#108, FMI#4
screen for fault code SPN#108,
is displayed, turn keyless
FMI#4.
engine switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3895-385-10),
and replace air pressure
sensor (WP 0333, Vol 2).
