ENGAGING TRACK BRAKE OVERRIDE

NOTE
This procedure will allow the BMPM to be towed by releasing the brakes internal to the track
drive torque hubs.
Do not tow the BMPM, this is used only to load onto recovery vehicle.
The procedure is the same for both the left and right side. Left side shown. The procedure
must be performed on both sides for towing to be possible.
1. Remove two bolts (Figure 4, Item1) and the brake override bracket (Figure 4, Item 2) from torque hub (Figure
4, Item 3).
2. Install two bolts (Figure 4, Item1) and the brake override bracket (Figure 4, Item 2) into the torque hub (Figure
4, Item 3) with the indented portion of the brake override bracket facing toward the torque hub.
