USE OF METRIC UNITS.
The
equipment
described
herein
contains
metric
components
and
requires
metric
common
tools.
Therefore, metric units are used for components or
systems that are metrically dimensioned and no U. S.
standard unit is applicable. In all other situations, U. S.
standard units and metric units are both referenced.

will be carried out in accordance with the Paving
Machine Organizational Maintenance Manual, TM 5-
