REMOVE
AUGER/CONVEYOR
CONTROL
VALVES.
Hydraulic
oil
can
be
moderately
flammable and can be an irritant to the
skin, eyes, and respiratory system.
Avoid
prolonged
exposure.
Eye
protection and rubber gloves must be
worn when working with hydraulic oil.
Thoroughly clean hoses and fittings
before disconnecting. Always plug or
cap off disconnected fittings to prevent
intrusion of contaminants. Failure to
properly clean and cap off connectors
may result in system contamination
and equipment damage.
NOTE
Before removing auger/conveyor control
valve the auger/conveyor speed control
valve must be removed. Remove right
speed control valve and DCA housing to
remove the right control valve. Remove
left speed control valve to remove the
left control valve.
Removal procedures for both the left
and right auger/conveyor control valves
are the same. The illustrations in this
procedure are for the right control valve.
The fittings may be positioned slightly
different for the left control valve.
a.
Wipe all dirt and dust from fittings with cleaning
cloths.
b.
Place machinery wiping towels around the
auger/ conveyor control valve to be removed.
