MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. If supply voltage is between 4.75
at ECM wiring harness
and 5.25 Volts Direct Current
connector W25 C7 +5 volt
(VDC), turn keyless engine switch
SUPPLY pin (pin 2) to intake
to the OFF position (TM 5-3895-
manifold pressure RETURN pin
385-10), and proceed to next test.
(pin 4) (WP 0443, Vol 3 and WP
0451, Vol 3, Figure 45).
2. If supply voltage is not between
4.75 and 5.25 VDC, turn keyless
engine switch to the OFF position
(TM 5-3895-385-10), and proceed
to next malfunction.
3. Place a jumper wire between
the intake manifold pressure +5
volt SUPPLY pin (pin 2) and the
intake manifold pressure
SIGNAL pin (pin 1) at the
engine ECM wiring harness
connector W25 C7 of the engine
ECM wiring harness.
4. Turn keyless engine switch to
the AUX position (TM 5-3895-
385-10), but do not start engine.
Go to active engine fault screen
and wait 30 seconds.
5. Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#102, FMI#3 is
screen for fault code SPN#102,
displayed, turn keyless engine
FMI#3.
switch to the OFF position (TM 5-
3895-385-10), and proceed to next
test.
2. If fault code SPN#102, FMI#3 is not
displayed, turn keyless engine
switch to the OFF position (TM 5-
3895-385-10), and replace the
engine harness (WP 0334, Vol 2).
6. Restore equipment to original
condition.
7. Turn BATTERY DISCONNECT
switch to OFF position (TM 5-
3895-385-10), and wait for 5
seconds.
