CORRECTIVE ACTION
2. Inspect engine ECM wiring
1. If damaged, replace engine
harness W25 for damage.
ECM wiring harness (WP 0334,
Vol 2).
2. If not damaged, proceed to next
test.
3. Disconnect engine ECM wiring
harness connector W25 C1
from ECM (WP 0451, Vol 3,
Figure 45).
4. Inspect engine ECM wiring
1. If damaged, replace engine
harness connector W25 C1 for
ECM wiring harness (WP 0334,
damage or loose pins.
Vol 2).
2. If not damaged, proceed to next
test.
5. Measure the resistance from
the ECM wiring harness
Ohms (Ω), turn keyless engine
connector W25 C1 (pin 16) to
switch to the OFF position (TM
ECM wiring harness connector
5-3895-385-10), and replace
W25 C12 pin 1 (WP 0443, Vol 3
ECM wiring harness (WP 0334,
and WP 0451, Vol 3, Figure
Vol 2).
45).
2. If resistance is less than 10 Ω,
go to next test.
6. Measure the resistance from
the ECM wiring harness
Ω, replace ECM wiring harness
connector W25 C1 (pin 48) to
(WP 0334, Vol 2).
ECM wiring harness connector
W25 C12 pin 2 (WP 0443, Vol 3
and WP 0451, Vol 3, Figure
45).
2. If resistance is less than 10 Ω,
go to next test.
7. Measure the resistance from
the ECM wiring harness
Ω, replace ECM wiring harness
connector W25 C1 (pin 27) to
(WP 0334, Vol 2).
ECM wiring harness connector
W25 C12 pin 3 (WP 0443, Vol 3
and WP 0451, Vol 3, Figure
45).
