DESCRIPTION
TEST PROCEDURES
Measures voltages present at alternator field windings
1.
Set TEST SELECT switches to 83.
DCA Test Pins: O and M
2.
Start paving machine and turn throttle control switch to
Measurement Range: 0 to 32 Vdc
MAX position.
PRE-TEST PROCEDURES
3.
Press and release TEST button.
Run confidence test per TM 9-4910-571-12&P
4.
Observe displayed value. Displayed values are In volts
DC. Expected display value is 24 volts nominal with
POSSIBLE ERROR MESSAGES
batteries fully charged. If .9.9.9.9 is displayed, voltage
is not within test range.
