Do not operate a diesel engine where there are or can be combustible vapors. These vapors can
be sucked through the air intake system and cause engine acceleration and overspeeding that
can result in a fire or explosion. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel and
damage to equipment.
If the engine speed stays at or above 2,500 revolutions per minute (rpm), shut the engine off
immediately. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
All other active faults must be investigated prior to replacing the engine Electronic Control
Module (ECM). Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
