Discard cylinder sleeves.Use extreme caution while handlingnew cylinder sleeves. The slightestburr or piece of dirt on outside ofcylinder sleeves may damagecylinder sleeve when fitted. Do notallow cylinder sleeves to bumpagainst engine block or becomedamaged in any way.c.Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe any dirtor residue from outside of new cylindersleeves (143) and inside of engine blocksleeve bores.d.Lubricate outside diameter of cylindersleeves (143) with clean engine oil exceptthe top 2.0 in.
