DIRECT SUPPORT AND GENERAL SUPPORT MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Section I. REPAIR PARTS, SPECIAL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
3-1. Special Tools and Equipment. There is no special test equipment required for maintenance of the
Bituminous Distributor. Special tools, which are located in the tool box, are listed in Appendix B.
3-2. Repair Parts. Repair parts are listed and illustrated in the Repair Parts and Special Tools list cover-
ing Direct Support and General Support maintenance for the equipment (Appendix C).
Section II. TROUBLESHOOTING
This section contains Direct Support and General Support troubleshooting information for
locating and correcting most of the operating troubles which may develop in the M918 Bituminous Distrib-
utor. This information supplements the information in the Organizational level troubleshooting procedure,
Table 2-2. Each malfunction for an individual component, unit, or system is followed by a list of tests or
inspections which will help you to determine corrective actions to take. You should perform the test/
inspections and corrective actions in the order listed.
This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective
actions. If a malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.
